Health means a state of being free from illness and staying healthy means staying strong and capable of doing everythinng possible.

Every year nearly 2.4 million Indians die of treatable conditions every year. The worst situation among 136 nations.

Poor quality leads to more deaths than insufficient access to health care. 1.6 million people died due to poor quality of care in 2016.

To get rid of all these conditions and to make health services more efficient, the Government of India has introduced a new health ID card under National Digital Health Mission.

New Digital Health Mission

Under this mission, every Indian going to get a new aadhar like- health ID which store an individuals health records.

From doctors appointmnets to treatments and the medication given for the cure and many more.

What is Digital ID?

Digital Health ID will be in the form of a mobile application. Patient can create it and share their deatils to hospitals and doctors digitally. They have access of limit of the sharing data like how long they are willing to share and what specific data they wanted to share.

If an individual is looking benefit frommany government scheme then they have to link up their aadhar with health ID.

After complition of every treatment in any hospital, the individual who shared their status will have a copy, and also the hospital will have the another.

Highlights from PM speech

On Saturday, August 15, Narendra Modi launched the National Digital Health Mission. The new scheme will come under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana.

In his speech he said that “from today, a big campaign is being launched in which technology will play a big role. The National Digital Health Mission is being launching today. This will bring a new revolution in Indian health sector. And it will help reduce problems in getting treatment with the help of technology.

He also said “Every Indian will be given a health ID will work as each Indian’s health account.

However, due to some data privacy protection problmes in India, this scheme have to be much concerned, to make it successful.
