Samsung is gearing up to launch a new smartphone under the A-series. The moniker for the upcoming handset – Samsung Galaxy A13 5G was recently confirmed via FCC certification. The handset has already visited the Geekbench database revealing the key specifications. Now, we have spotted the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A13 5G handset on the Bluetooth SIG database. Bluetooth SIG database listing once again confirms the moniker of the handset along with the model number. As per the listing, the model numbers SM-A136U, SM-A136U1, SM-A136W, SM-A136DL belong to the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G. These different model numbers represent the variants of the handset for different regions.

Samsung Galaxy A13 5G: Features and Specifications

The upcoming Galaxy handset will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC which is built on TSMC’s 7nm fabrication process. This is the same processor that is found on several popular mid-range handsets such as Redmi Note 10T 5G, POCO M3 Pro 5G, Realme 8 5G, and more. MediaTek Dimensity 700 comes equipped with Mali G57 GPU that is clocked at 950MHz.

Though the handset is said to launch in three configurations – 4GB + 64GB, 6GB RAM + 128GB, and 8GB RAM + 128GB, it made an appearance on the Geekbench listing with 4GB of RAM. The upcoming handset will boot Android 11 based OneUI 3.1.

Also, the renders of the handset were leaked on the web last month revealing a 6.48-inch IPS LCD display with an infinity-V notch. The handset is said to feature a 50MP triple-rear camera setup and a 5,000mAh battery. Also, FCC certification has already confirmed 15W fast charging support on the upcoming Galaxy A13 5G. The leaked renders also suggest that the handset will feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner which will double as the power button.
