Let’s take a look at more details on the Galaxy A73 specifications, features and other details leaked ahead of the launch.

Samsung Galaxy A73 camera specs leaked

Samsung could launch the Galaxy A73 early next year. Ahead of the launch, the device’s camera specs have been tipped online. According to a leaker, Samsung will introduce a 108MP camera sensor in its upcoming premium Galaxy A73 smartphone. The company has launched multiple devices in the past with a 108MP primary camera. We have seen the Galaxy S20 Ultra and Galaxy S21 Ultra feature the high-resolution camera sensor. The flagship models have featured various iterations of the 108MP sensor. Samsung’s latest S-series flagship, the S21 Ultra, features the 1/1.33″ ISOCELL HM3 sensor with 0.8μm-sized pixels.

It is unknown if the Galaxy A73 will use the same sensor found on the Galaxy S21 Ultra. It is also possible that the company could use the previous generation HM2 108MP camera sensor on the Galaxy A73.

We have seen many smartphones such as the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, Realme 8 Pro use the HM2 108MP sensor. Therefore, the Galaxy A73 will not be the most affordable phone to feature the 108MP sensor. That being said, if the company uses the same HM3 sensor found on the S21 Ultra, we can expect it Galaxy A73 to offer some great camera performance in its price range.

There is no official word from Samsung around the Galaxy A73. We, therefore, suggest taking the leak with a pinch of salt.
